Ecotourism Australia 2016 Membership Survey Results
Ecotourism Australia recently held a membership survey amongst our Ecotourism, ROC and Climate Action certified operators to find out more about what value in their membership and certification with us.
This survey covered general operational questions to get an idea of how they run and where they are based, progressing through to more targeted questions around our new audit partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA), memberships with Regional Tourism Offices, and National Park permits. Most importantly, questions were asked regarding some of our core marketing operations, including; our new partnership with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders programme, as well as our work at the Australian Tourism Exchange and Tourism Awards and the Global ECO Conference.
Members were able to provide us with feedback on our general services and their membership benefits, and also provided an opportunity to name any advocacy issues they would like to see us take further action on.

We are pleased that the majority of the operators who completed the questionnaire were very positive with the services provided and the benefits that come with their membership. Feedback has been given constructively and we would like to thank the operators who completed the questionnaire for their candidness and the time they have taken to complete the survey.
