What have you heard about the Great Barrier Reef? If we hazard a guess, there’s a good chance it was bad news. Our media, as much as we love it and learn from it, seems to enjoy focusing on the problems when it comes to the reef – coral bleaching, climate change impacts, the dying reef, overfishing – the list goes on. But what we don’t get to hear much about is what people are doing to protect the reef, and to conserve it for future generations.
