Congratulations to Ecotourism Australia Director – Tony Charters
Ecotourism Australia is very pleased to congratulate Tony as he has been awarded MEMBER (AM) IN THE GENERAL DIVISION OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA “for significant service to the eco-tourism industry, particularly to nature-based recreation, and to environmental education and visitor programs.“
Tony has been a Director of Ecotourism Australia since its inception in 1999 and has been a tireless supporter and inspiration for both the organisation and its supporters. He has contributed strongly through his roles with the Annual conference, creation of the Eco-certification and Climate Action programs and his relentless pursuit of opportunities both within and outside of Australia for Ecotourism Australia.
