Straddie Kingfisher Tours provide full day and half day 4WD Eco tours (including whale watching) on North Stradbroke Island. For individuals and groups we provide plenty of action packed activities including sand boarding, kayaking, beach fishing trips and plenty more. Located just 25 minutes out from the Mainland.
Ecotourism in Action
Whilst on tour you will notice that our guide/driver will drive around to avoid bird flocks settled on the beach so we don’t disturb them. More fun taking photos of them socialising and grooming. The drinking cups we use are made of plant starch so when they decompose they add fertiliser to the soil, very good for the environment where ever they end up. When in the vicinity of wildlife remember to talk quietly so we can get up close for some perfectly executed camera shots. Look around you because you never know what you might see on our tour.

Full Day 4WD Eco Tour
This tour takes you to all the "Wildlife" hot spots on the Island by travelling the bush tracks and beaches stopping for morning tea at Brown Lake and after our BBQ on the beach for lunch. Visiting the best scenic lookouts and spectacular views that Straddie offers.

Kayaking
We have a range of sites to kayak to depending on your level of skill. At all sites we will be in the right place to view the marine wildlife as well as the bird life around us. Dolphins frequent the water we kayak in so be ready!

Sand Boarding
Great for young and old, the desert is located at Point Lookout and is a FUN thing to do. You do not need any skill set as all will be explained to you by our experienced guides. Start off slow and then build up to the monster slopes.

Tag Along Tour
For those of you who wish to gain sand driving skills this is the tour for you. You drive your 4WD and follow us to all the places we go gaining valuable knowledge, tips and practice along the way. Our expert guides will teach you the right procedures and set you straight.
