West Australian Tourism Award Winners Announced
The 2014 West Australian Tourism awards have been announced with great news for a few of our outstanding Western Australian tour operators!
Ecotourism Australia certified operators took home the following awards in the following categories:
Ecotourism Category:
Gold - Out of Sight Tours (Advanced Ecotourism and Climate Action Business certified)
Bronze - Sail Ningaloo (Advanced Ecotourism and Climate Action Business certified)
Major Tour and/or Transport Operators:
Silver - APT (Advanced Ecotourism and ROC certified, EcoLodges of Australia)
Adventure Tourism:
Bronze - Sail Ningaloo
Tourist and Caravan Parks:
Gold - BIG4 Peppermint Park (Nature Tourism certified)
Unique Accommodation:
Bronze - Sail Ningaloo
A big congratulations to all of our certified award winners - the awards are well-deserved and showcase your dedication and outstanding representation of best practice sustainable tourism. A particularly warm congratulations must go to BIG4 Peppermint Park, who won the Gold award in their category for the third year running, which will see them enter the Hall of Fame in 2015.
