Dates for the 2016 Global Eco Conference have been released
Not too long ago, Rick Murray, Chairman of Ecotourism Australia, announced that the next Global Eco Asia Pacific Tourism Conference will be held in Tasmania. Today, two days before Christmas, we are excited to inform you about the dates and location. Mark your diaries now!
Global Eco Asia Pacific Tourism Conference heads to Hobart from the 21st to 23rd November 2016. Celebrating 25 years of Ecotourism Australia and 20 years of Eco Certification, the 2016 Conference will build on the huge success of the Rottnest Island event held last month.
Global Eco Asia Pacific was last held in Tasmania in 2005. Delegates will get to see first-hand some of the amazing Tasmanian tourism products and attractions.
Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania is the major supporter and partner of the conference and will feature some of its many ecotourism initiatives in November.
More details of the conference will be released early in 2016.
