Congratulations to Tim North Marine for achieving Advanced Ecotourism and Climate Action Business certification.
Cairns based operator, Tim North Marine, operate Private Charter Tours on the Great Barrier Reef, with itineraries incorporating Reef and Island based activities. Tim North Marine have a strong commitment to sustainability, measuring and tracking their carbon emissions, purchasing Green Power, participating in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority’s Sightings Network Program, assisting in local marine conservation efforts, contributing to the Minke Whale Project’s Tagging Research Project, and donating their time and vessel to assist the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre in the release of rehabilitated turtles.
Just recently, Tim North Marine sponsored and assisted in the rehabilitation and release (pictured) of a turtle named "Magic", rescued by the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre.
