Welcome to the 24th Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference 21-23 November
The 24th annual Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference will bring together world leaders on ecotourism, sustainability and responsible tourism from 21-23 November in Hobart, Tasmania. As the longest running ecotourism conference in the world, Global Eco attracts tourism operators, protected area managers, tourism organisations, Indigenous bodies, destination developers, marketers and researchers from across Australia and around the world to further develop the ecotourism industry.
Positive Outcomes for ATE16
Ecotourism Australia joined over 2,500 tourism industry professionals on Queensland's Gold Coast for the 2016 Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE16) between the 16th to 19th of May. The event proved yet again to be a valuable experience, providing an opportunity to network, build positive relationships, and gain insight into current trends within the industry and an opportunity to catch up with our members in attendance, who made up over 40% of all Sellers!

World Environment Day Tree Planting Challenge - June 2016
On 3 June 2016 Conservation Volunteers will host a World Environment Day Tree Planting Challenge and they invite you to participate! Teams of 10 members each will have two hours to plant as many trees as they can. Each team will be judged based on both the number of trees planted and planting quality.
Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival 2016
In just over a months time Ningaloo will host the annual Ningaloo Whale Shark festival, celebrating the return of the whale shark, the gentle giant of the sea. Now expanded to a five day event, Wednesday May 25 till Sunday May 29, the Ningaloo Whaleshark festival will be a celebration for all ages with top bands, magic, fire acts, aerial displays, a fun run, Aussie breakfast, market stalls, beach games, a movie night and much more!
