Australian Tourism Exchange fast Approaching!

Posted by on 28 May 2015 | Comments

The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) 2015 is fast approaching, set to take place in Melbourne from the 21st to the 25th of June, and Ecotourism Australia is pleased to see that our members make up one in every five sellers attending the event.

ATE is Tourism Australia's key Australian trade event and the largest tourism business-to-business event in the country, with a purpose to connect local sellers with domestic and international buyers. It is an opportunity for tourism businesses to showcase their products and establish important business connections with the people and organisations that take Australian tourism to the international market place.

Representing almost 500 certified tourism operators, Ecotourism Australia will be attending the event with the purpose of representing and showcasing our operator's vast and diverse range of ecotourism products. We will be pushing a strong emphasis on QUALITY and driving discussions with the intention to open doors, maintain networks, facilitate positive connections and ultimately create valuable relationships for our operators.

Leading up to the event, we will be welcoming and encouraging any feedback, suggestions and requests from our members and certified operators, after all it is they who we are representing!

We hope to touch base with all of our members and certified operators at the event, and will be distributing our Gecko Trail shortly. The Gecko Trail is a map of the venue identifying booth locations of all ECO certified operators to facilitate networking and to demonstrate the wide representation of high quality, certified products.

At some point during the event we will try and get a group photo of the 94 Ecotourism Australia certified sellers.

Our Operations Manager, Emily Ellis, will be manning our stand for the duration, with Chief Executive, Rod Hillman joining for Thursday 25th. Come and see us at Booth 251A
