Congratulations to ABC Dive and Snorkel for being awarded Ecotourism Certification for their SCUBA Diving and Snorkeling Tours!
ABC Dive and Snorkel operate out of Port Douglas and provide unique small group tours to pristine areas of the outer Great Barrier Reef, with a team of expert divers and marine biologists.
What sets this provider apart is that they premise small groups (a maximum of 12 passengers) and use a smaller boat, which enables them to get to more exclusive and unspoilt dive and snorkel locations, whilst insuring a minimum impact to the wildlife around them. The smaller groups also mean a higher level of personal attention, and more intimate and unique marine life encounters and experiences in some of the most beautiful and untouched parts of the reef, teeming with wildlife.
All visitors to the reef are provided with an in-depth briefing before getting into the water, which includes safety procedures and guidelines on minimal impact diving and conservation. ABC Dive and Snorkel are also part of the Eye on the Reef Monitoring Program and guides are trained to monitor and report on the condition of the reef.
This operator provides a personalised dive experience and tailors their trips to group to ensure visitors get a unique and unforgettable experience. Divers and snorkellers of all levels are welcome and PADI training is provided by their 5 Star dive centre.
